Surety Department Representative

This career opportunity encompasses high-level support work in our Surety Department, providing exceptional customer service and meeting time-sensitive client requests with accuracy and efficiency, and is structured to report directly to the Bond Department Manager.
Requirements include:
- US-authorized worker
- Residence not more than 20 miles from Totowa, NJ
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer) as well as Adobe (PDF’s)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- A willing attitude and desire to learn
- Attention to detail and meticulousness in accuracy of preparing paperwork, legal instruments, and other documents
Ideal Candidate Preferences include:
- At least 2 years’ experience working in an office
- Active NJ Property & Casualty Producer’s License
- Some college or completed degree
Initial Duties Will Include but May Not be Limited to:
- Filing
- Information requests
- Client phone contact
- File replication and filing in complex electronic-filing folder tree
- Carrier phone and correspondence contact
- Preparing bid, performance and payment, and maintenance bonds
- Preparing General Indemnity Agreements
- File set-ups
