Surety Department Representative

This career opportunity encompasses high-level support work in our Surety Department, providing exceptional customer service and meeting time-sensitive client requests with accuracy and efficiency, and is structured to report directly to the Bond Department Manager.

Requirements include: 

• US-authorized worker
• Residence not more than 20 miles from Totowa, NJ
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer) as well as Adobe (PDF’s)
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• A willing attitude and desire to learn
• Attention to detail and meticulousness in accuracy of preparing paperwork, legal instruments, and other documents

Ideal Candidate Preferences include:

• At least 2 years’ experience working in an office
• Active NJ Property & Casualty Producer’s License
• Some college or completed degree

Initial Duties Will Include but May Not be Limited to:

• Filing
• Information requests
• Client phone contact
• File replication and filing in complex electronic-filing folder tree
• Carrier phone and correspondence contact
• Preparing bid, performance and payment, and maintenance bonds
• Preparing General Indemnity Agreements
• File set-ups
